A furnace that won't ignite, short-cycles, or keeps tripping its limit switch needs more than a reset in Lycoming winters. A CO check happens on every call, standard, not an upsell.
A short list of components causes most Furnace Repair calls: ignitor, flame sensor, gas valve, heat exchanger. We test with real equipment, not parts-cannon guessing.
Safety and accuracy on every heating call.
A combustion analyzer reading for dangerous CO levels is part of every visit, not optional.
We bump no-heat calls ahead of routine visits when it's cold.
Ignitor or heat exchanger, the price is quoted and approved before work begins.
Our techs are trained equally on gas furnaces and electric heat strips, no exceptions.
Six repairs that cover most of our winter calls.
Cracked ignitors and carbon-fouled sensors cause a large share of no-heat calls, usually a same-visit fix.
We test actual response and pressure output rather than replacing an expensive part on a hunch before we recommend replacing it.
We inspect carefully with proper equipment rather than assuming based on age.
Short-cycling or mid-cycle shutdowns often trace to the limit switch or a struggling blower before condemning the control board.
Older Lycoming furnaces with standing pilots have their own failure points — thermocouples, pilot orifices, draft issues that newer ignition doesn't have.
We rule out wiring issues first to avoid overcharging for parts you don't need.

Truck arrives stocked with common ignitor, flame sensor, and control parts ready to diagnose and often repair same visit.
Safety and diagnostic checks come first, then a flat-rate quote.
Most repairs finish same visit, with a final CO check before we leave, backed by warranty.
